Christmas theme by Amazing-Christmas-Ideas.com
make them something from the heart! they will definetely appreciate that- make a card for example and put pictures of the whole family or make an album with the whole family from the past christmas’
make something for them instead. you could make a book of coupons for chores around the house that they can use whenever and you will honour. parents don’t expect costly things from their kids.
I don’t know how old you are but do you have neighbors that you can offer to do odd jobs for? What about extended family members?
*babysitting
*household chores
*yard work
*pet sitting
*plant sitting
*newspaper route
are all good ways to earn a few extra dollars throughout the year!
depending hw old you are and if you have siblings and babysit, also you can do chores and asked to get paid. if you dont want to do these things then make something such a a copon bok where your parents can ask you to give there car a free car wash or you will make dinner or something. you can also look on google and make them a christmas ornement or something
Make them something, it means more. But if you really want or need money to buy them something, sell some of your own stuff (within reason) or if they give you money for lunch at school, keep it and buy them something (make sure to bring your own lunch). Thats what I used to do.
Ask dad for money to spend on mom and ask mom for money to spend on dad OR ask mom to take you shopping for dad and vise versa.
make something homemade, i’m sure they would really cherish it!
make them happy
make them proud of you
opay them as u can
pray for them
it’s precious than any money or gift
u can be there gift
u can be there gift
u can be there gift
Go from house to house and ask to shovel there driveways… or anytype of yeardwork that they are willing to pay you for. You can even do this with your parents.. do extra odds and ends around the house to make a few bucks.
i would give your mom jewelery and maybe you dad something that he does a lot [hunting?] if you want money do chores around the house while your parents are gone or something..also if there’s snow outside where you live..shovel other peoples driveways for money
If it snows where you live, go shovel some sidewalks for some cash. The elderly in your neighborhood could probably use their sidewalks cleared of snow.
Breakfast in bed sounds nice : ) I like Kristy’s idea…
get your dad to help you pay for a present for your mom and vice versa, or just make something for them. It’s the thought that counts.
Well if you have any talents, your parents may PREFER to receive gifts that you’ve taken the time to make (ie; paintings, wood carvings, crafts) those things are more personal.
If you want to buy something and you’re too young to get a job, you could always try doing things like shoveling driveways for the neighbours, babysitting, walking peoples dogs, mowing lawns, etc.
You could also make your parents “gift cards” which grant them things like a weekend with no housework (that you’ll take care of), breakfast in bed, offer to make dinner.
Hope that helps!
maybe you don’t have to buy anything…sounds old school but ever try to make them something? or bring home really good grades??
first ask dad for money then you go out with dad shopping and get mom presents and do the same with your mom. or get you dad to buy a gift and make it for the family
ask to go halfway with your other parent on a gift that you like. parents love it when you make them nice little gifts too. just get the money by asking to do house chores for a dollar or two.
depends on where you live. if you live where it’s hot, set up a lemonade stand downtown or something. if it’s cold where you live, do the same with hot chocolate. ebay could work too, you could sell your stuff. it might not get there by christmas though. good luck with that.
Get together with your mom to get your dad a present, and do the same with your dad, for your mom. They can go out and buy what you want to give them, and perhaps pay/help pay for it.
Ask them and see.
Well, one way to do it is to go shopping with your mom and get the present for your dad, and then go shopping with your dad and buy a present for your mom. You could ask your parents for it, if that doesn’t work, offer to do some chores around the house for money… and if that doesn’t work, offer to do some chores for neighbors or something like that. I’m sure your parents will have something for you to do around the house.
Also, you could try to make a homemade gift for the both of them…like a scrapbook or a collage picture frame is nice.
Talk to them — tell them your dilemma and ask if you can do extra chores for pay
I used to tell my Mom what I wanted to get for my Dad and she would buy it and then I would tell my Dad what I wanted to get for my Mom and he would buy it, usually my Dad would take me shopping because he was trying to figure out what he wanted to get my Mom anyways so it all worked out in the end.
